Hamilton’s Favourite Steakhouse

Victoria’s is a Steakhouse in Hamilton, located at 470 King Street West. We focus on good beef, careful cooking, and a dining room that feels steady, welcoming, and easy to settle into. We don’t build nights around theatrics. We build them around consistency—how it feels to come back.

Rooted in Place

470 King Street West has been home to Hamilton hospitality for more than 100 years—hotels, bars, and restaurants across generations.

Victoria’s continues that tradition today, welcoming guests from across Hamilton and the surrounding region, including Burlington, Dundas, Ancaster, and Niagara.

What You’ll Find

A modern steakhouse that takes the fundamentals seriously:

• Canadian and Argentinian beef as the heart of the menu
Dry-aged and matured steaks, with select cuts finished in-house
• Wagyu offerings from exclusive Japanese Breeds and even local ranches
• A comfortable room with a measured pace
• Service that’s informed and attentive, without hovering

The Beef

Our beef program is built on Ontario and Canadian beef, alongside a strong commitment to Argentinian beef. We also feature Wagyu from Japan and select programs from Australia, New Zealand, and Canada when available.

We work with specialist butchers who age whole primals in large cabinets before select cuts are brought in-house for further development. Beef changes with season, climate, and feed—we cook with those differences in mind and guests are able to taste the difference.

How We Cook Steak

When steaks hit the grill, we keep it direct.

Seasoned with salt—including Vancouver Island sea salt—cooked over high heat, and rested properly. No heavy marinades. No masking flavours. Just attention to doneness, timing, and temperature.

That simplicity is intentional: it lets the beef speak, whether it’s Canadian, Argentinian, or Wagyu.
